Welcome to The Race 2005!
You will probably want to know what 'The Race' is all about, well let me tell you! Upon this section you will find details of 24 of the Webmaster's 2005 young birds (the Birds). You may browse at these birds as much as you want, choosing which you think will race the best for the 2005 young bird season. Once you've pondered over which birds are the 'likeliest'; view photos, statistics, disscuss their merits on the Message Forum; its then time to choose 6 birds that will best represent you for the duration of the competition. Entry is by a simple form, and completely free. You will be able to change such choices until the closing date of 29th July 2005. |

Upon that date entries will be closed and no further alterations will be allowed. The 30th of July is the scheduled first young bird race, and scoring will begin! Each competition bird will be ranked on loft performance against each other, points for 1st to 10th (to the loft), your points will then be calculated, as the total of the birds you have chosen, which will give your score for the leaderboard. These pages will be updated regularly after each race so that you can track the performance of your 'likeliest' six! And at the end of the season the entrant with the best rating |

will win. There is a range of prizes up for grabs.
The competition is open to anyone, fanciers and non-fanciers alike! All the pigeons in 'The Race' will be raced to the same loft, on the same system, getting the same treatment; more info on the loft see the info page. |
