Welcome to the Edinburgh International One Loft Race website.
The following is taken from our recent advert in the fancy press;
Dear Fancier,
I would like to invite you to participate in the 2008 Edinburgh International One Loft Race.
Located in Midlothian on the south-eastern corner of Edinburgh we are constructing a loft 180 feet in length, that will accommodate up to 1,000 birds.
We think you will like the way we have formulated the entry fee. Meaning you don't pay if your bird is lost prior to the 40-mile training toss - birds lost can even be replaced for free until 17th April. And even then the total price per entry in the loft is only £75.
We've teamed together with Pigeonbasics.com to provide you with the most comprehensive one loft race coverage from the moment your bird arrives, to when it is timed-in in the final race. Infact we've already started updating the website with how the loft is taking shape! And if you don't have access to the internet, we'll send regular newsletters by post.
We have also teamed up with Bricon ETS, which we will be using for all training and races, once again providing the best coverage for your birds.
We look forward to receiving your entry.
Kenny Bald

- Birds accepted 6th February - 10th April 2008 (should be 28-35 days old when sent)
- Birds will be vaccinated for PMV and Pox upon arrival.
- After the Grand Final a number of birds will be auctioned (proceeds: 50% entrant, 40% Edinburgh Int. One Loft Race, 10% Auctioneer).
We are creating a bespoke information delivery system for what is going to be one of the most progressive one loft races available.
And as such these pages are an interim solution to provide you with news and updates with what is going on down at the loft.
We are very excited about what we are working on, and hope to be able to share it with you in the near future.
